24 Weeks!

how far along? 24 weeks...yea for viability!

how are you measuring? 24 weeks

size of baby? The length of an ear of corn and weighing a little over a pound

heartbeat? 153 at my appt last week

total weight gain/loss? 5 lbs.

maternity clothes? all maternity pants, but still able to wear regular shirts
sleep? yes please. ha ha. Sleeping well!

best moment this week? Cory was able to feel Levi for the first time. Such an awesome moment!

movement? All the time! Funny moment: At my appt last week my dr. was trying to find his heartbeat with the doppler and Levi kept kicking it off my stomach and would then roll to the other side.

food cravings/aversions? Asian Chicken Salad...This is only the 2nd time I have had it since being pregnant.

gender predictions? It's a boy!

what i miss: Energy in the evenings

what i'm looking forward to: Getting our bedding in this next week

how are you feeling? Pretty good. I have started to have a little swelling in my feet, but it hasn't been that bad at all.

21 Weeks

how far along? 21 weeks

how are you measuring? 21 weeks

size of baby? 10.5 inches long and almost a pound...length of a carrot. Last week it was a banana so that must be one long carrot!

heartbeat? 141

total weight gain/loss? 4 lbs.

maternity clothes? still half and half....planning to do a little shopping this weekend.
sleep? sleeping better this past week. I still have to get up several times a night and can't sleep on my back anymore, but I seemed to have found some side positions that work.

best moment this week? getting to hold a 1-day old baby...precious!

movement? Yes! He is most active in the mornings and then again around 5ish. He seems to like to nap right after lunchtime and is pretty quiet in the afternoons. I think I also felt him have hiccups the other morning.

food cravings/aversions? Craving bruschetta....so random! Haven't had it yet though.

gender predictions? It's a boy! Levi Michael

what i miss: being able to stay up past 9:30...poor Cory.

what i'm looking forward to: seeing the bedding when it comes in

20 weeks...a few days late

how far along? 20 weeks

how are you measuring? anywhere between 19 and 21 weeks at my last appt...this baby might have a large head :)

size of baby? 10 inches from head to heel and weighing 11 oz.- Banana

heartbeat? 141

total weight gain/loss? 4 lbs.

maternity clothes? still half and half...I seriously need to go shopping though. I am getting tired of wearing the same things.
sleep? Sleeping a little better now. Still getting up at least twice every night and can no longer sleep on my back (uncomfortable).

best moment this week? Our homegroup leaders baby was born after a 35 hour labor and delivery! Cozette Noelle is beautiful though and I loved getting to meet her.

movement? Yes! Feeling movement more and more everyday. He was rocking out to the music at church the other night.

food cravings/aversions? More aversions than cravings lately...especially with meat.

gender predictions? No more predictions....it's a boy! Levi Michael

what i miss: staying awake past 9:30 and not having a nose like a hawk (Smells really bother me these days)

what i'm looking forward to: We started working on his room this past weekend (okay, it was really more Cory and my parents...I supervised) and I can't wait to see it all come together once the bedding comes in.

19 Weeks

how far along? 19 weeks

how are you measuring? 19 weeks

size of baby? Large Heirloom Tomato: 8.5 oz and 6 inches long...something else I read said it is the size of a tissue box.

heartbeat? 140's at my last appt

total weight gain/loss? not sure...will find out tomorrow. I am thinking it has gone up with all the holiday goodies and a few pieces of my mom's italian cream cake...yummy!

maternity clothes? half and half still
sleep? Still getting up frequently through the night and sleeping on my back is starting to get a little more uncomfortable.

best moment this week? Christmas! We got lots of great things for the baby and enjoyed time with family and friends...and a break from work.

movement? Yes, it's getting stronger. Feeling little kicks here and there.

food cravings/aversions? I wasn't craving it, but Cory took me to lunch the other day at Paradise Bakery and I ordered the Asian Chicken Salad...I could seriously eat this everyday. Now I am craving it. I have also been craving food from a place in Tyler and Waco called Newk's (love the chicken salad sandwich-shout out to Suzanne for introducing me!), but it's a little far and I haven't convinced Cory to drive me there yet just for lunch.

gender predictions? We find out tomorrow...but we are thinking boy!

what i'm looking forward to: Finding out the gender tomorrow!

how are you feeling? Still tired....oh well, trying to come to terms with the lack of energy.

18 Weeks

how far along? 18 weeks

how are you measuring? 18 weeks

size of baby? bell pepper: 5 1/2 inches long and about 7 ounces

heartbeat? in the 140's at my 15 week appointment

total weight gain/loss? 1 lb.

maternity clothes? About the same...half and half. My last pair of work pants that were non-maternity were feeling a little snug this week.
sleep? yes please...whoever said my energy would return LIED to me! I have been falling asleep this week around 9 and still waking up to go to the bathroom 3-4 times per night. Fun times.

best moment this week? We got the nursery furniture. We didn't open any of it (we won't until after we paint), but it feels good to know it is now in our possession (especially after what we had to go through to make sure it truly was ours).

movement? Yes, definitely! It is getting more consistent.

food cravings/aversions? None...I'm boring, I know.

gender predictions? Find out on the 30th! Had a dream the other night that my good friend Bethany performed the sonogram and told me it was a boy. However, I think my sister-in-law (Angie) has had 2 dreams about the baby being a girl. We shall see!

what i miss: Nothing really

what i'm looking forward to: CHRISTMAS... This is one of my favorite times of the year. My nephew is 17 months and I think it will be fun to watch him join in all the festivities this year. I also caught him standing on one of his presents last week....he he he.
