Our New Home

Cory and I recently purchased our first home in Little Elm (Frisco area). We closed towards the end of February and moved in the following weekend. We painted the kitchen, 2 guest rooms, living room and master bathroom. We LOVE our new home and are excited to see what's in store for the future and are truly thankful for God's provision!

Welcome! Come take a tour!

Master Bedroom

Master Bathroom...if you recall...this used to be a lovely mustardy/gold color! It was the first thing we painted!

The kitchen...which I absolutely adore!

The living room...notice the cute curtains that Cory hung.
Guest Bathroom...we will probably eventually repaint this, but for now it will do.

One of the guest rooms, the other one is just an office/storage room so no pictures of that one.

The previous owners left their patio furniture (it was a gross blue/grayish color) so we took some spray paint to it and voila...good as new with some cute cushions.

The day we had a housewarming party! Thanks to everyone who helped us move, helped us paint, helped us unpack, and helped bless our new home!

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow

First Snow of Winter for DFW metroplex! (taken at my parent's house)

A few more pics....

Living Room (sorry it's a little fuzzy)

Guest bathroom with double sinks!

Master bathroom....that we will definitely be repainting :)
Ginormous bathtub!

Kitchen...this is what sold me on the house. I think I hugged the counter the first time I saw the house and told our realtor..."where do I sign? I am sold."

We get to keep the fridge too!

Formal dining room

We also found out on Friday night that the seller is including their lawn equipment as part of the deal as well. Can't argue with that!

Vacation

We decided to take a vacation this summer to not only celebrate our 1st anniversary, but to also get some rest and relaxation. After a lot of research, we decided to take a Carnival Cruise out of New Orleans. The cruise ports were Progresso, Mexico and Cozumel, Mexico. The cruise was 5 days long, but we also spent 1 night in New Orleans and 1 night in Nacogdoches. Here are a few pics from our trip.

All of our luggage tags lined up and ready to go!

The ships "rear"

Our Cabin: I am pretty sure that the person who cleaned our room told us his name was "Bon Bon"

Formal Night Picture

If you have ever been on a cruise then you know that you get to try all types of interesting foods. On our last night at dinner our waiter brought us out escargot. Cory decided to take one for the team and try them.

The close up

Thumbs up only means one thing: He liked it!

I decided to forgo the escargot and order dessert: Chocolate Melting Cake.....YUMMY!

The stingray towel on our bed the last night
